These terms and conditions apply to all reservations, services and agreements offered by Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk

Definitions

• Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk: The private landlord who rents the accommodation.
• Customer: Any natural or legal person who makes a reservation or enters into an agreement with Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk.
• Agreement: The reservation or rental agreement between Paleisje Noordwijk and/or Chateau Noordwijk and the customer.

Applicability

These general conditions apply to all offers, reservations and agreements relating to the rental of accommodations by Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk. A separate rental agreement may also apply to specific reservations. Any deviations from these general conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.

Reservations

A reservation is not final until it has been received Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk confirmed in writing. Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk reserves the right to refuse a reservation without giving a reason. Customers must be of legal age (18 years or older) at the time of reservation.

Payments

• After confirming the reservation, the customer is obliged to make the payment within the specified period.
• Once payment has been made, refunds are not possible. This means that once payment has been made, the customer cannot claim a refund in case of cancellation, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk.
• If payment is not made on time, Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

Cancellations and changes

• Cancellation by customer before payment: Cancellations can be submitted in writing or by email before payment is made.
• Cancellation by customer after payment: As stated in Article 4, refunds are not possible after payment has been completed. The customer cannot claim a refund or modification of the reservation after payment has been made, unless otherwise agreed.
• Cancellation by Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk: In exceptional cases, Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk may be forced to cancel the reservation. In this case, a suitable alternative accommodation will be offered or the customer will receive a full refund.

Stay and use of accommodation

• The customer must use the accommodation neatly and in accordance with the house rules. Any damages or additional cleaning fees may be charged.
• The customer may not exceed the number of guests indicated in the reservation without prior permission from Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk.
• A maximum of 2 pets are allowed in the accommodation.
• Parties and celebrations are not allowed in the accommodation.

Deposit and liability

• A deposit of €150 is required. This deposit is collected in cash upon arrival. The deposit will be fully refunded in cash upon check-out, after checking for any damage to the accommodation.
• The client is liable for all damages incurred during the stay, unless such damages cannot be attributed to the client.
• Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk is not liable for damage or loss of customer’s property.

Tourist tax

• When staying at Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk, the customer is required to pay tourist tax of €2.45 per person per night. This tax must be paid in cash upon arrival as there is no ATM available. The amount of tourist tax is set by the municipality and may be subject to change.

Complaints

Complaints about the accommodation or service should be reported as soon as possible to Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk. Wij streven ernaar klachten binnen een redelijke termijn op te lossen.

Force majeure

In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions), we Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk reserves the right to cancel the contract without being liable for damages or costs.

Data Protection

Paleisje Noordwijk and/or Chateau Noordwijk processes customer personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, as described in our privacy statement.

Applicable law and disputes

Dutch law applies to all agreements and these general terms and conditions. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

Rental agreement

In addition to these general terms and conditions, a separate rental agreement may apply to specific reservations. This agreement contains specific conditions regarding the use of the accommodation, deposit, liability and house rules. This rental agreement is provided with each relevant reservation and must be signed by the customer prior to the stay. The rental agreement is an integral part of the reservation and, together with these general conditions, forms the complete framework of the agreement between Paleisje Noordwijk & Chateau Noordwijk and the customer.
